Discover how the Bob Marley film One Love brings the reggae legend's story to life

The life of music legend Bob Marley is brought to the big screen in the emotional new biopic Bob Marley: One Love. Versatile actor Kingsley Ben-Adir undergoes an eerie transformation into the late, lamented reggae icon, having already achieved successful portrayals of leading African-American cultural figures Malcolm X and Barack Obama.

Born in Jamaica, Marley is credited with introducing the reggae genre to a wide international audience. His eclectic career spanned all manner of triumphs and tragedies from sell-out concerts to a shocking assassination attempt, and is therefore rich with big-screen potential. Marley's near-mythical status was further cemented by his premature death at the mere age of 36.

Expect a multifaceted turn from the talented Ben-Adir as Marley reconciles his message of peace and solidarity with a world riven by conflict and animosity. Lashana Lynch portrays Marley's wife Rita and James Norton portrays Island Records founder Chris Blackwell who helped propel Marley to global recognition.

Directed by King Richard's Reinaldo Marcus Green, it's expected that Bob Marley: One Love will engage with both existing Marley addicts and newcomers alike. Watch the following clip and discover how the cast and crew resurrected Marley's singular spirit for the movie.

Bob Marley: One Love recently hosted its world premiere in Kingston, Jamaica with the likes of Bob Marley's son Ziggy, plus Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, in attendance. Here are some images from the event and further down is a featurette of video highlights.
