BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury's lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.

The Hate U Give

The Necromancer

Serce Nie Sluga (Polish)

What's the story? The Heart Wants What It Wants. is a film about lookin for love. It is about connections of people who have stopped believing in love, though in the depths of their hearts, are just waiting for such true love. However, it is not easy to find your other half, even if you spend a lot of time dating. Daria and Filip - the main characters of the film have known each other for years and are the best friends. Filip is a classic 'Peter Pan' and a heartbreaker. After another, intoxicating night, when he wakes up next to a newly met girl, he will feel that he wants to change his life. He reminds his friend about the promises he made to her a few years ago. If they are not in serious relationships to thirty, they will get married and raise their child together. At first, Daria doesn't like this idea, she finally gives up and succeeds in persuading her friend. Each of them at some point will have to answer the question, is that friendship, or is it love? When their lives take on a new line, fate will thwart their plans. Can love really survive everything? And above all - does it last forever?

MET Opera 2018: La Fanciulla Del West (Saturday 27th October, 5.55pm)

What's the story? Puccini's gunpowder western returns to the stage where it premiered under Arturo Toscanini. Gold Rush, 1849. Bar owner Minnie looks after a crew of rough miners while fending off the unwanted attentions of the local sheriff. When a tall, mysterious stranger walks into the bar, it looks as if her life is about to change. But the newcomer is not what he seems, and Minnie gets drawn into deadly peril. Boasting gunfights, poker games, and stagecoach robbers, La Fanciulla del West combines the action of a great adventure with the emotional punch of Italian opera. Soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek sings the role of the gunslinging heroine, alongside Jonas Kaufmann as the outlaw who steals her heart. Marco Armiliato conducts.

Royal Opera Live 2018: Die Walkure (Sunday 28th October, 5pm)

What's the story? Wagner's Ring cycle is one of the greatest works of all opera. Keith Warner's production is conducted by Antonio Pappano, Music Director of The Royal Opera, and this final revival is cast with an outstanding international array of Wagnerian specialist singers. The full cycle's four operas journey from the beginning of a world to its destruction, with gods, heroes and monsters. This epic myth portrays every type of human emotion in music and ideas of extraordinary power. The Ring is always a special event in the operatic calendar: once experienced, never forgotten. Die Walkure (The Valkyrie) is the second opera in the cycle, and features several of the Ring's musical highlights – the sparkling Magic Fire Music and the electrifying Ride of the Valkyries. But among the musical fireworks and Norse mythology, at the centre of this opera are the unforgettable characters and the complex entanglements between them, including twins Siegmund and Sieglinde, and Wotan and his Valkyrie daughter, Brunnhilde.

NT Live: Allelujah! (Thursday 1st November, 7pm)

What's the story? Allelujah! by Alan Bennet 'Leaves you bobbing on a wave of happiness' Independent. Alan Bennett's sharp and hilarious new play is 'just what the doctor ordered' (Daily Telegraph). Filmed live at London's Bridge Theatre during its limited run, don't miss this 'rousing chorus line for the NHS' (Observer) in your local cinema. The Beth, an old fashioned cradle-to-grave hospital serving a town on the edge of the Pennines, is threatened with closure as part of an efficiency drive. A documentary crew, eager to capture its fight for survival, follows the daily struggle to find beds on the Dusty Springfield Geriatric Ward, and the triumphs of the old people's choir. Alan Bennett's celebrated plays include The History Boys, The Lady in the Van and The Madness of George III, all of which were also seen on film. Allelujah! is his tenth collaboration with award-winning director Nicholas Hytner.

The Evil Dead re-release (Wednesday 31st October, 8.45pm)

What's the story? Five friends travel to a cabin in the woods, where they unknowingly release flesh-possessing demons. Sam Raimi's seminal horror made a cult icon of Bruce Campbell and turned its director into hot property. Much imitated, but never bettered, The Evil Dead was the birth of an independently-spirited, viscerally-minded new wave in low budget horror cinema.

Beetlejuice 30th anniversary re-issue (Tuesday 30th October, 8pm)

What's the story? In This House... If You've Seen One Ghost... You Haven't Seen Them All. Michael Keaton, Academy Award winner Geena Davis, Alex Baldwin and Winona Ryder star in director Tim Burton's comic twist on supernatural horror tales -- Beetlejuice. When a couple of nice, young homebody ghosts (Baldwin and Davis) try to haunt the pretentious humans who have moved into their house, they ask for help from a demonic wraith (Keaton) they cannot control in this comic fantasy that mixes the quick and the dead with a laugh and a fright.
