Eddie Redmayne gives an Oscar-tipped performance as the esteemed physicist Stephen Hawking in this stirring biopic, one that explores his university days at Cambridge and eventual marriage to Jane (Felicity Jones). It's a love that's ultimately tested by Hawking's tragic diagnosis with motor neuron disease.
