Jojo Rabbit: book now for your Cineworld Unlimited screening

You've never seen World War II depicted like this before. Taika Waititi's wacky wartime satire Jojo Rabbit previews in advance for Cineworld Unlimited members on the 16th of December – and makes an absolute mockery of one of history's most notorious dictators.

Golden Globe nominee Roman Griffin Davis stars as Jojo 'Rabbit' Betzler, a young boy in the Hitler Youth who is beset on all sides by Nazi tyranny. He imagines the party's infamous leader Adolf Hitler (Waititi) as his best friend, which presents a problem when Jojo discovers his mother Rosie (Scarlett Johansson) is sheltering Jewish girl Elsa (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Will he rat her out, or be sympathetic towards her plight?

The director of Thor: Ragnarok and Hunt for the Wilderpeople brings his characteristic offbeat humour to one of the darkest periods in human history. And while you may not agree with his approach to such difficult subject matter, you certainly won't forget it in a hurry.
