Every Thursday at 7PM UK time, they will be releasing one NT Live title on the National Theatre’s YouTube channel that can be watched for free, on-demand for seven days only.
It's exactly what we all need during this time of stringent, nationwide lockdowns. This week, we're introducing Charlotte Bronte adaptation Jane Eyre, including all the details of where you can stream it.
What is the story of Jane Eyre?
First published in 1847, Jane Eyre remains one of the defining works of English literature. Written by Charlotte Bronte, it explores the steady emotional awakening of humble governess Jane, which is brought on by her tentative relationship with Mr. Rochester, the brooding owner of Thornfield Hall.
Director Sally Cookson's re-imagining of Bronte's classic was first staged by Bristol Old Vic in 2015 and transferred to the National Theatre in the same year with a revival in 2017. And now, you can watch it from the comfort of your own home.

The Daily Mail describes the show as "magnificent", and The Evening Standard says it's "endlessly inventive".
