Sundance Film Festival London 2021: line-up and key information for Cineworld Unlimited members

Sundance Film Festival: London takes place from the 29th of July to the 1st of August 2021 at Picturehouse Central, London. So be sure to clear your schedule for a host of dynamic and exciting independent films, premieres and revealing talks with leading filmmakers.

Among this year's highlights: director Ninja Thyberg’s critically acclaimed feature film debut Pleasure, which made its world debut at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival in January. Mamma Mia! and Herself director Phyllida Lloyd leads a Masterclass and discusses the process of putting women centre stage in her stories. And Host director Rob Savage joins the Scare Tactics – Making Modern Horror panel, which also includes the director of atmospheric new British chiller Censor, Prano Bailey Bond.

Censor is screening separately at the festival, having generated significant buzz on the independent circuit. The movie is connected to an intriguing, nostalgic heritage of suppression and censorship with regards to horror in the UK. When film censor Enid discovers an eerie horror that speaks directly to her sister's mysterious disappearance, she resolves to unravel the puzzle behind the film and its enigmatic director – a quest blurring the lines between fiction and reality in terrifying ways.
