Exclusive interview: Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley on the making of the movie

It's a tall order following up one of the most beloved movie trilogies of all time – but that was the challenge facing director Josh Cooley on Toy Story 4.

The former Disney-Pixar storyboard artist turns helmer for the first time, and against all the odds has delivered a follow-up that, critics agree, is a triumphant extension of the Toy Story universe.

The narrative this time reunites Woody (Tom Hanks) with former flame Bo Peep (Annie Potts), while introducing scene-stealing new faces including Forky (Tony Hale) and Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves).

We were delighted to catch up with Josh to discuss one of the year's most anticipated movies, and we also delve into what he loves most about the big screen experience.
