Transformers: Rise of the Beasts begins filming and reveals logo

The Autobots and Decepticons will return in the next instalment of the planet-pummelling Transformers franchise. The seventh instalment in the series is officially titled Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and filming is now underway.

Creed II's Steven Caple Jr. is directing, and the exciting cast is led by In the Heights' Anthony Ramos, and Judas and the Black Messiah's Dominique Fishback. Michael Bay, who helmed all the Transformers movies except for 2018's Bumblebee (that was helmed by Travis Knight) remains on board in a producer capacity. A suitably steely logo has also been revealed for your attention.

Directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, the film arrives in cinemas summer 2022."
