Rising British star Kingsley Ben-Adir is becoming famous for his transformations into real-life figures. From Malcolm X to Barack Obama, he clearly enjoys getting beneath the skin of influential people and he now turns his attention to trend-setting Jamaican musician Bob Marley in Bob Marley: One Love.
The movie, released in February 2024, promises to be a sweeping account of Marley's astonishing influence on the music industry, which was consistently underpinned by a message of empathy and solidarity. Upon his death in 1981, Marley had done more than anyone else to popularise reggae the world over and his influence is still felt to this day.
It's a tall order to portray someone who blazed such a trail. However, there's one individual who's already impressed with Ben-Adir's portrayal and that's Bob Marley's son, Ziggy. Discover Ziggy's laudatory praise in the following behind-the-scenes clip.
